    Hansen Talent Group is seeking a Senior IT Program Manager with strong experience managing IT audit engagements, regulatory compliance initiatives, and cross-functional technology projects. This is a hybrid position in Columbia, SC, requiring onsite work Tuesday through Thursday.

    The Senior IT Program Manager will serve as the primary liaison between auditors and Information Services teams, coordinating multiple concurrent audit engagements and ensuring audit requirements, evidence, remediation activities, and project deliverables are completed accurately and on time. This is a program management role focused on audit coordination and compliance—not an auditor position.

    Duties:

    • Lead and coordinate multiple concurrent internal and external IT audit engagements.

    • Serve as the primary liaison between auditors, technology teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.

    • Coordinate audit evidence and artifact requests across infrastructure, cybersecurity, application development, operations, and business teams.

    • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, risks, action plans, and audit deliverables.

    • Lead audit status meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.

    • Track findings, corrective actions, and remediation efforts through completion.

    • Identify and escalate risks, delays, resource constraints, and other issues that could impact audit or compliance objectives.

    • Facilitate communication and resolve conflicts between auditors and internal technology teams.

    • Ensure audit documentation and evidence are accurate, complete, and delivered according to required timelines.

    • Manage multiple audit and compliance initiatives while minimizing disruption to business and technology operations.

    • Mentor project team members and provide guidance on project management and audit coordination best practices.

    Qualifications:

    • IT experience in a leadership or project/program management capacity, leading multiple concurrent project teams or initiatives.

    • Experience leading or facilitating internal and/or external IT audit engagements.

    • Experience coordinating multiple concurrent audits.

    • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, infrastructure, application development, and operational controls.

    • Experience with IT controls, audit processes, regulatory compliance, and remediation activities.

    • Strong project and program management experience, including risk, scope, resource, timeline, and stakeholder management.

    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.

    • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with experience working across technical teams, auditors, and senior leadership.

    • PMP certification preferred.

    • Experience with NIST, COBIT, ITIL, GRC frameworks, and information security controls is a plus.

    • Experience managing audit remediation programs is a plus.

    • Insurance industry experience is preferred.
