A global financial-services organization is seeking an early-career IT Procurement Analyst to join a lean, collaborative technology procurement team.
This position is designed for someone who is highly analytical, strong in Excel, comfortable working with numbers, and interested in developing long-term procurement and contracting expertise. The analyst will initially support reporting, systems, projects, vendor onboarding, sourcing, and contract administration before progressing into direct purchasing ownership.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Maintain and analyze procurement reports, dashboards, and operational data.
- Support procurement initiatives and track project milestones.
- Assist with vendor onboarding and sourcing activities.
- Support procurement, intake, and contract-management systems.
- Maintain accurate and complete procurement data.
- Coordinate stakeholder requests and procurement workflows.
- Maintain contract documentation and reporting.
- Assist with contract execution and approval processes.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Technology, business teams, and vendors.
- Develop procurement expertise through training, shadowing, and increasing ownership.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Approximately zero to three years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with numbers and data.
- Experience creating, updating, or analyzing reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Customer-service-oriented approach to stakeholder support.
- Ability to work independently while recognizing when guidance is needed.
- Interest in developing within technology procurement.
- Ability to work onsite in Stamford during onboarding and three days per week afterward.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE- Procurement, sourcing, contracting, or vendor-management exposure.
- Experience with procurement or contract-management systems.
- Contract Logix, ServiceNow, or DocuSign.
- Vendor onboarding or contract-administration experience.
- Consulting, software, or technology-industry experience.
