Description

The IT Operations Specialist will play a key role in supporting and maintaining technology systems to ensure seamless operations within the financial services industry. This role is based in Westport and focuses on delivering reliable technical solutions and support.

Description

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify and resolve system issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with the technology team to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
  • Document processes and maintain accurate records of IT operations.
  • Support end-users with troubleshooting and technical assistance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.

Profile

  • Must have 5+ years of strong Mac and Windows endpoint administration experience, including hands-on support of both user populations in a mixed environment. Mac experience is particularly important given the team's makeup and growth plans. Experience with Jamf is highly preferred, with Intune exposure also valuable.
  • IAM expertise, including provisioning/deprovisioning users, managing permissions, and administering platforms such as Okta, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
  • L2/L3 end-user support experience with the ability to work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, own tickets from start to finish, and operate as the primary IT resource supporting a dedicated business group. This person must be highly autonomous with minimal oversight.
  • Endpoint security and device management knowledge, including patching, compliance, MDM, encryption, endpoint protection, access controls, and maintaining operational standards in a security-conscious environment.
  • Experience supporting users in financial services, fintech, or similarly high-touch environments, with exposure to executive-level stakeholders and global teams. The candidate should understand the expectations of demanding business users and be comfortable supporting teams across multiple time zones.
