    Overview:

    The IT Manager is responsible for leading the organization's technology operations, infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity initiatives, and IT support functions. This role will provide strategic direction while ensuring reliable day-to-day technology services across multiple office locations. The IT Manager serves as a bridge between business operations and technology, helping departments leverage systems and automation to improve efficiency, consistency, and customer service.

    The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can balance strategic planning with operational execution while supporting a growing, multi-location insurance brokerage environment.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring employees receive timely and effective technology support.
    • Oversee IT support processes, including ticket management, issue prioritization, escalation procedures, and service delivery standards.
    • Manage the administration, maintenance, and performance of company hardware, software, networks, and business applications.
    • Coordinate system implementations, upgrades, and technology projects in partnership with organizational leadership and vendors.
    • Serve as a point of contact for managed service providers (MSPs), telecommunications vendors, and other technology partners.
    • Ensure technology systems are properly documented and that standard operating procedures are maintained to support business continuity.
    • Support onboarding, offboarding, acquisitions, and office transitions by coordinating technology resources, equipment, and user access.
    • Monitor system performance, identify opportunities for process improvement, and recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
    • Collaborate with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to support cybersecurity initiatives, technology compliance requirements, and organizational technology standards.
    • Supervise the Systems Specialist, providing operational guidance for day-to-day IT functions while partnering with and reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
