    About You
You're a people-first technologist who genuinely enjoys showing up, working alongside colleagues at every level, and making their lives easier through smart, modern solutions. You don't just resolve issues, you look for ways to improve how people work, and you bring those ideas forward.

Above all, you're someone we can rely on to own it. Because you'd be our sole in-house technology expert, you're comfortable being the authority: diagnosing what's really going on, asking the right questions, and running with solutions without needing to be guided. You follow through, you go beyond the ask, and "no" is rarely your first response.

You do the right thing for the right reason. You've earned trust through consistency, integrity, and genuine commitment to the people you serve, and you understand that confidentiality isn't just a policy, it's a standard you hold yourself to without exception.

    Position Overview
The IT Manager is our internal technology authority, the person who owns the systems and workflows that keep the agency running. At the heart of this role is deep ownership of our Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environment: not just administering it, but governing it well, cleaning up and structuring it thoughtfully, and unlocking capabilities that make the whole agency work better. You'll also own our SaaS portfolio and serve as the primary liaison with our Managed Service Provider (MSP), who handles infrastructure, security monitoring, and 24/7 support.

Day to day, you'll provide friendly on-site support while working at a higher level to drive process improvement and technology efficiency. This role blends hands-on problem solving with real systems thinking, ideal for someone equally comfortable resolving an issue on the spot and shaping what the business needs next. Because you'll be our only in-house IT resource, self-sufficiency and genuine platform expertise matter more here than in a role with a team to lean on.

    Job Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 & SharePoint (the core of the role)
    • Own, administer, and continuously improve our Microsoft 365 environment, with genuine depth in SharePoint architecture, permissions, governance, and adoption
    • Bring order to an environment that grew organically, standardizing structure, tightening permissions, and moving toward smarter, metadata-driven organization
    • Put to work M365 capabilities we're underusing, and look for ways to automate workflows and deliver better reporting and dashboards, using whatever tools fit, including modern AI-driven approaches
    MSP Relationship & Technology Initiatives
    • Serve as the primary liaison with our MSP, reviewing Statements of Work, holding them accountable, and bringing appropriate work in-house over time
    • Lead active and upcoming initiatives, including user and group cleanup, migrating our Media and Analytics teams from a legacy free Google account to a managed Google Workspace environment, and ongoing cybersecurity improvements
    Day-to-Day Operations & Employee Experience
    • Provide responsive, friendly on-site support for devices and workplace technology across both Mac and Windows, and own the new-hire setup experience
    • Own the SaaS portfolio, asset inventory, and device lifecycle, auditing for value, managing renewals, and keeping clear documentation so knowledge lives with the organization
    • Partner with colleagues across the agency to find smarter ways of working, including putting AI and automation to practical use
    What You Bring
    Required
    • Strong, hands-on Microsoft 365 and SharePoint administration, with genuine depth (not just surface familiarity) in SharePoint governance, permissions, and structure.
    • Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or 5+ years of equivalent hands-on IT experience
    • Hands-on experience supporting both Mac and Windows. We're a creative agency with a substantial Mac user base, including leadership, so genuine day-one comfort supporting macOS is essential
    • Experience managing an MSP or vendor relationships, including contract review, accountability, and escalation
    • An exceptional communicator who can make technical things clear for non-technical people at every level
    • A track record of owning an M365 environment as the lead or go-to technical resource, what matters most is demonstrated ownership, not just years on the job
    Nice to Have
    • A track record of automating workflows or building reporting and dashboards, whether with automation platforms, BI tools, or AI
    • Experience administering Google Workspace (our Media and Analytics teams run on Google Workspace alongside Microsoft 365)
    • Experience auditing a multi-platform SaaS environment, and building IT documentation and SOPs
    • Familiarity with Intune/MAM, BYOD, and a solid grounding in cybersecurity best practices
    • Experience in advertising, marketing, or creative services
    • Relevant certifications (Microsoft, cybersecurity, project management)
    Who You Are
    • A builder and doer who rolls up their sleeves without being asked
    • A pragmatic problem-solver who finds solutions rather than just surfacing them
    • Self-sufficient and trustworthy, able to be the technology authority in a company where leadership isn't technical
    • Collaborative and service-oriented, at home supporting creative teams across Mac and Windows
    • Adaptable and curious, comfortable with change in a fast-paced creative environment
Reports to: AVP, Culture and People Operations

    Compensation
The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $110,000.00 per year. Final pay within this range will be based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
