IT Manager

Responsibilities -

• Manages the technology infrastructure and ensures its availability, reliability, and scalability
• Oversees development, implementation and upgrades of software and hardware systems
• Develops and implements policies and procedures for the use of technology within the organization
• Stays up-to-date with advances in technology and makes recommendations for incorporating new technologies into the organization
• Ensures the security of sensitive data and systems, including implementing data backup and recovery procedures and cyber security tools
• Hires and manages IT staff, including assigning tasks and ensuring their professional development
• Creates documentation, communicates changes and organizes/conducts training for employees as needed
• Maintains effective communication and working relationships with team members

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in our organization
• A high degree of integrity and personal responsibility
• Highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and able to prioritize appropriately

Some nice to haves

• Experience administering or supporting some of the following technologies Microsoft Windows Servers and Workstations, Firewalls, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, VMWare, NAS, VPN, DNS, TCP/IP
• General understanding of the Microsoft .NET framework C#, ASP.NET, AJAX, SQL
