IT Manager, Business Applications - Only W2 Candidates.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager, Business Applications to lead technology solutions supporting fundraising, alumni engagement, constituent management, reporting, and business operations.

This role will manage a technical team while serving as a key technology partner to business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Salesforce, application management, reporting, data integration, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Salesforce application support, configuration, enhancements, and administration.

• Support CRM implementations, integrations, upgrades, testing, and deployments.

• Oversee reporting, data analysis, and business intelligence solutions.

• Partner with business leaders to prioritize technology initiatives and improve processes.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical professionals.

• Manage application projects, vendors, consultants, and internal technology teams.

• Establish application standards, documentation, and change management practices.

• Ensure reliable, scalable, and user-focused technology solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of progressive IT experience.

• Strong experience with Salesforce or enterprise CRM applications.

• Knowledge of SDLC, change management, and application lifecycle practices.

• Experience with SQL and reporting/BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Understanding of APIs, data integration, and workflow automation.

• Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in higher education, nonprofit, fundraising, or advancement environments.

• Salesforce Administrator certification.

• Experience with Advancement CRM platforms.

• Project management experience.
