The IT Help Desk provides level one technical support to users experiencing hardware or software issues, assigns support tickets to IT Support, and serves as the primary conduit for Help Desk calls and tickets in a manner that reflects the companys vision of working as "One Professional Team."

Pay Rate: starting at $22.00 per hour

Pay rate is dependent upon education & experience.

Essential Functions:

• Distributes and tracks email and data security policy
• Answers all Help Desk calls
• Assists Communication Systems Support Specialist in any special projects related to phones, faxes, copy machines, etc.
• Makes all DBS user and Wynne user changes, additions and deletions
• Evaluates Help Desk software
• Assists in installation of software
• Administers Help Desk software
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years administrative/clerical experience
• 3+ years customer service experience

Physical Demands & Competencies:

• Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing
• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing but may require occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
• Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills
• Safety & Product Knowledge
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook

• Indoors
