Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking reliable IT Field Technicians to support a hospital technology deployment project in State College, PA. Technicians will be responsible for installing and configuring desktop computer equipment, monitors, keyboards, mice, and related peripherals at workstations throughout the facility.

The project requires attention to detail and a consistent, professional installation at every workstation.

Ideal Technician:

• Previous experience with desktop/workstation installations.
• Comfortable working with computers, monitors, keyboards, mice, and cables.
• Strong attention to detail and cable-management skills.
• Reliable and able to work the full Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Move equipment within the hospital building as needed.
• Unbox and organize new equipment.
• Perform deskside/workstation installations.
• Install computers, monitors, keyboards, mice, and other peripherals.
• Connect and organize all equipment and cables.
• Perform proper cable management using Velcro or zip ties supplied by the hospital.
• Ensure each workstation has a clean, uniform appearance matching the other completed desks.
• Test equipment and confirm that all newly installed devices are functioning properly.
• Clean the work area after each installation.
• Remove boxes, packaging, and other trash from the work area.
• Complete required project completion forms for each workstation.
• Follow all hospital site procedures and maintain a professional, respectful presence while working in the facility.
