Reason for Request:
These two contractors are needed as seasonal staff augmentation for Membership Operations during our high-volume year-end processing period. Membership experiences a significant increase in eligibility activity as clients prepare for January 1 effective dates, requiring additional resources to monitor, process, research, and troubleshoot incoming eligibility files while maintaining established service and processing commitments. Our existing internal staff will continue managing normal production responsibilities as well as the increased seasonal workload, and we do not have sufficient permanent capacity to absorb the additional volume without creating operational risk or impacting turnaround times. The contractors will provide temporary incremental capacity specifically during this peak period and allow our permanent associates to remain focused on both daily production and more complex client and file-processing issues. These positions have therefore been approved as seasonal resources through December 31, 2026.
Backfill/Replacement: No seasonal staff augmentation
