    Description

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide senior-level technical support for all production systems.
    • Interact with IT resources to improve tools, technology stack, and application performance and stability.
    • Responsible for the company’s virtualization environment. Servers and Desktops.
    • Assist in creating and sustaining digital systems through systems health monitoring to support the seamless deployment and service levels to all environments and users.
    • Sustain and improve quality engineering process through peer review, continuous testing, and knowledge transfer to business functions.
    • Continually evaluate new technologies within the IT industry, proposing those to management that may impact the operation positively.
    • Collaborate with ongoing continuous improvement initiatives to engage IT resources and provide active role in creating new creative solutions.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned.

     

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in computer science, business administration or related field, or equivalent practical work experience and/or applicable certifications.
    • Continuous improvement skillset to drive action and initiatives.
    • IT Skillset: Windows Server and Desktop, Linux, development languages, scripting, and networking.
    • Learners mindset to learn DevOps software tools, workflows, and improvement
    • Must be well organized, with the ability to prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and keep the information technology team apprised of any issues that might affect deadlines.
