[Responsibilities]
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot (2.7+)
- Implement non-blocking, reactive applications leveraging Spring WebFlux for optimal responsiveness
- Manage and optimize event-driven architectures with Kafka, including topic creation, configuration, and seamless integration with Spring Boot
- Build custom Kafka producers and consumers for robust message processing
- Develop and maintain data management solutions with MyBatis, JDBC, and SQL
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications running on Tomcat servers
- Utilize Maven for dependency management and Docker for containerization
- Apply strong security practices using Spring Security (5.x), understanding Oauth and JWT protocols
- Adhere to test-driven development to ensure code reliability and maintainability
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3-5 years' experience in backend development with a strong focus on Java, Kafka, and Spring WebFlux
- Proficient in Java, Spring Boot (2.7+), Spring Security (5.x), Spring WebFlux
- Expertise in Kafka event streaming, topic management, and integration
- Strong knowledge of MyBatis, JDBC, and SQL
- Experience with Tomcat, Maven, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Understanding of Oauth and JWT authentication
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and collaborative mindset
[Preferred Skills]
- Familiarity with Confluent Cloud
- Experience with CI pipelines using GitLab CI and deployment management with Helm
