Description

Job Title: IT Desktop Support Admin 
Location: Novi, MI
Duration: 12 months 
Rate Range: $58.00 - $60.00 per hour on W2

Position Summary
The IT Technical Support role is responsible for providing comprehensive technical assistance for internal users, working alongside our Infrastructure team to support IT infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability and security of our technology environment. This position is based at our Wixom, MI office and reports to the IT Manager or Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • User Support & Troubleshooting
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for technical support requests, hardware and software issues, and network issues for employees.
    • Diagnose and resolve technical problems, escalating complex or security sensitive issues to higher level support teams as required.
    • Provide training and guidance to users on A/V systems (e.g., Client Teams Rooms, conference room technology) and productivity tools.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Coordinate with other departments, staff, Security, and Compliance teams to resolve issues and implement IT solutions aligned with business requirements.
    • Interface with corporate IT groups and key customers to improve the user experience while maintaining strong operational and security practices.
    • Clearly communicate technical requirements , support expectations, and operational constraints to users and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 4 years of direct experience in IT support, including hands on work with Windows 11, iOS, iPadOS, MacOS, and Azure/Intune administration.
  • Experience supporting systems in enterprise IT environments with established operational procedures and service standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to follow documented procedures and support standards.
  • Understanding of fundamental networking and endpoint security principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; customer service oriented with a balance of responsiveness and operational discipline.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented , and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise IT environment.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Client Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar.
  • Exposure to enterprise security, access management, endpoint management, or IT governance practices.
  • Experience with remote desktop tools, IT service management platforms (Jira Service Management), and formal change control processes.
  • Familiarity with security auditing, access reviews, and IT documentation.

Additional Information
  • The role may require occasional after-hours support to address urgent technical issues.
