(BVTI) is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) that is looking to identify a motivated, career and customer-oriented IT Deputy Program Manager to join our team supporting federal customers in the Intelligence Community on a long-term, high-profile contract. The ideal candidate will direct IT personnel and teams to ensure computer systems and networks continually remain secure and reliable. The IT Deputy Program Manager will ultimately be responsible for managing the stability and security of all wide area networks (WANs), local area networks (LANs) and organization-specific networks. They will also install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems across a variety of organizations and networks. They will frequently communicate and collaborate with other developers and implement system enhancements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management and oversite of onsite technical support team and engineering staff.
  • Oversee design, installation, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of system and network activities to ensure continuous, efficient, and secure operation.
  • Support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues and transitions.
  • Implement and coordinate all security and network policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of file servers, firewalls, network access, security systems, routers, and customer operations.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of computer hardware and software upgrades and network software in order to meet contract requirements.
  • Train and mentor technical support team and engineering staff.
