About the Role


AET Federal is seeking an experienced IT Coordinator based out of Scoville, Idaho to serve as the on-site IT point of contact for NRLFO at the Idaho Branch Office, providing hands-on IT support, coordinating with NR IT and NNL IT, and keeping equipment, tickets, and telecom services running smoothly for the site.


Key Responsibilities


  • Provide general IT support across locations — field questions/issues, coordinate site-personnel support, execute onboarding/offboarding IT actions
  • Maintain a knowledgebase of current hardware/software to support maintenance, enhancements, and refresh cycles
  • Facilitate asset tracking, installation requests/progress, product documentation, and end-user feedback
  • Support approval, installation, configuration, and ongoing support of software
  • Coordinate/resolve issues related to connectivity and configuration of non-enterprise systems
  • Monitor and help resolve open NRLFO Remedy tickets within established SLAs; identify recurring IT trends/problems and recommend solutions
  • Support telecommunications needs — voice, data, and video (scheduling, troubleshooting, configuration) including for new/transferred employees
  • Coordinate IT support for project-oriented requests; recommend efficiency-improving IT systems/technologies
  • Maintain and regularly update IT task/project tracking documentation
  • Deliver weekly progress briefings to NRLFO IT managers; proactively flag missed completion dates and reasons
  • Interface with NRLFO IT Branch, Business Management Branch, and NNL IT to align on tasks and priorities
  • Develop, maintain, and document IT-related policies, processes, and procedures
Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree OR minimum 4 years of relevant experience
  • Be able to o obtain and maintain a DOE "L" access authorization (Required)
  • Able to work on-site and full-time at the Idaho branch Office in Scoville, Idaho on a four 10-hour day work schedule (Required) 
  • Project management experience
  • Previous experience supporting IT ticketing/ SLA environments (Remedy or similar) 
  • Microsoft certification or demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to clearly articulate technical ideas verbally and in writing
Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with software development processes
  • Strong customer service, teaming, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Track record proactively resolving issues and improving processes
  • Strong prioritization skills across multiple concurrent tasks/projects
  • Experience facilitating inter-departmental and internal/external communications
  • Knowledge of systems administration (Active Directory, group policy, etc.)
  • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures
  • Experience developing and implementing new policies/processes
