IT Controller

Job Title: IT Controller
Location: Roseville, Minnesota
Type: 6 month Contract
Compensation: $72.00 - $75.00
Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote

Responsibilities

• Support financial leadership and governance across IT portfolios, ensuring compliance with corporate policy, GAAP, and regulatory standards.
• Own end-to-end portfolio financials, focusing on strategic impact, compliance, and leadership.
• Support portfolio-level financial governance and provide insights for investment prioritization, risk management, and long-term financial planning.
• Execute forecasting, accruals, journal entries, and variance analysis, ensuring timeliness, transparency, and accuracy of financials.
• Conduct trend and scenario analyses to identify risks and opportunities, develop business cases, and support funding requests.
• Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes and reporting tools, participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience working operationally with information technology related business controls or processes (e.g., compliance, audit, supply chain, financial accounting, software asset management).
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, science, business or related field, or 4 years of equivalent experience.
• Ability to articulate core business and technology processes and related trends.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive consensus.
• Strong communication skills, effective across organizational levels.
• Strong relationship management and collaboration skills, with a track record of working cross-organizationally to drive results.
