Job Overview

As a member of our 24/7 Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC), you will be responsible for ongoing monitoring, responding to alerts from various tools such as IPS, EDR, Phishing, AV, and SIEM, and collaborating on project work as needed. You will play a crucial role in interfacing with business units during incidents to mitigate any discovered threats.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Administer, operate, and monitor information security sensors, logging, alerting, and detection mechanisms.
• Triage, contain, and eradicate threats as part of the Cybersecurity Incident Response Team.
• Act as a subject matter expert for assigned Cybersecurity technology stacks.
• Collaborate with security architecture to recommend new security technologies.
• Communicate ongoing Cybersecurity activities and risk measurements at multiple organizational levels.
• Provide guidance for security activities in the system development life cycle (SDLC) and application development efforts.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Preferences

• Security or similar certification
• Internship or job experience in a Cybersecurity role
