Core duties and responsibilities include:
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to support technology solutions
Translate complex business needs into clear functional specs, workflows, and user stories
Lead stakeholder meetings, workshops, and discovery sessions
Analyze data, identify trends, and build reports/dashboards to support decisions
Evaluate and improve business processes to drive efficiency and performance
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on time and within scope
Support testing, validation, and successful implementation of new systems
Identify risks, manage priorities, and help guide projects through completion
Required skills and qualifications:
3–5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, IT, or related field
Experience with requirements gathering, SDLC (Agile/Waterfall), and project support
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience with tools like Microsoft Office, project tracking, and requirements management tools
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, IT, or related field
Nice to Have:
Experience in education, public sector, or policy environments
Familiarity with California education systems or government organizations
Compensation:
The Salary range for this position is from $95k to $100k, depending on experience.
