Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, financial product knowledge, and business analysis. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to drive technology initiatives and ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Advanced data analysis skills including SQL, Python, and AI tools.
  • Understanding of market risk, greeks, VaR, stress tests, and complex financial products.
  • Experience in driving requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Ability to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements within agreed project timelines.
  • Strong knowledge of Capital Markets, Prime Brokerage, Margin, Collateral, or Risk Management processes.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Proficiency with business analysis and documentation tools.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Partner with Equity Derivatives trading, sales, and operations to understand risk PL workflows.
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and data flows.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technology deliverables.
  • Support impact analysis for regulatory, control, and remediation initiatives.
  • Work with development teams to clarify requirements, resolve design questions, and support testing.
  • Own and drive delivery of technology initiatives across risk PL and upstream/downstream impacted teams.
  • Develop and manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues.
  • Coordinate across global technology and business stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
  • Track delivery progress and provide clear status reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
