    Overview

    A confidential company is seeking an IT Applications Manager – HR to lead and support technology initiatives across the HR and Production (Kronos) domains. This role will serve as a subject matter expert, strategic consultant, and operational leader responsible for ensuring the organization’s HR and production systems enable efficient, scalable business operations.

    The ideal candidate will oversee ERP application activities, guide technical decisions, manage a team of application specialists, and help establish organizational standards, processes, and strategic direction for HR-related technologies.


    Key Responsibilities
    • Serve as a technology advisor to HR and Production leadership, proactively recommending solutions that support business goals.

    • Manage internal IT staff, third-party vendors, and service providers responsible for assigned applications.

    • Maintain strong domain knowledge of HR and Production processes to ensure technology solutions deliver maximum value.

    • Support IT leadership with operational functions such as budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, procurement, and project oversight.

    • Oracle HCM experience required.

    • Oversee project workflows including planning, execution, monitoring, team alignment, and corrective actions as needed.

    • Ensure adherence to project management best practices and established SDLC standards.

    • Configure, support, and maintain third-party applications within the HR and Production ecosystem.


    Required Skills & Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technology field.

    • 5+ years of experience managing the support and operations of business applications.

    • 3+ years of people management experience.

    • Strong background with HR systems, including hands-on experience with Oracle HCM.

    • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
