A Brief Summary of This Position:
The main goal of this position is an end-to-end role working at the intersection of software engineering, AI, and business problem-solving. This role owns solutions from problem discovery to production, working directly with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, shaping the solution, and delivering systems that creates measurable value to the business and performs analysis, design, development and implementation of application programs and the modification of existing application programs. In this role you will analyze project requirements, develop effort estimates, develop solutions, test and provide technical support. As an Advanced AI Programmer Analyst, you will support major cross functional projects with complex and challenging business problems that can have a broad organization impact and provide opportunities for significant competitive advantage. You may solve highly technical complex problems and be included as a consultant for other projects. Direction is provided by the immediate manager and normally consists of relative priority and timing requirements of the assignment, business process requirements and tradeoffs, assigned resources, security and/or performance requirements, interface and technical requirements. You will be encouraged to provide guidance to other technical resources to maximize production output and quality by effectively leveraging AI capabilities.
The system user or customer is fully involved at each stage of implementation to help ensure the accuracy of the solution. The Advanced AI Programmer Analyst leads activities by coordinating development, systems integration and end user testing including planning, building, scheduling, facilitating execution, issues resolution, controlling scope, and adjusting to unforeseen issues. You will work with the project team to document, prioritize, and resolve issues to ensure testing deliverables are completed on time. Development and implementation of applications require a broad understanding of application architecture and integration with business systems. The Advanced AI Programmer Analyst must perform feasibility and economic analysis to evaluate system alternatives for cost and bottom-line impact. Efficiency of the entire business process must be considered throughout the development cycle.

Working Environment and Physical Efforts:
Work is typically performed in an office setting. The incumbent is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as talk and listen on the phone and in personal conversations or meetings. Environment is fast paced and demanding most of the time. Domestic and international travel up to 25% with overnight stays required for this position. Travel expectations vary depending on the number of implementations throughout the year. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms while working in the office with various files and forms and while working on the computer. The employee is occasionally required to move about the office. Incumbent must utilize proper ergonomic safeguards such as monitor height and positions, keyboard location and height, and proper wrists rests. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds in working with large files, binders, and computer equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
