Programmer Analyst III (AS400/RPG Developer)
Location: Montgomery, Alabama (Onsite)
Contract Duration: 06 months contract to hire

Must-Have Requirements
•8+ years of verifiable RPG programming experience
•IBM AS400 platform experience
•Experience within the last 12-15 years
•Business-critical application support experience
•Eligible for Alabama State Merit System employment

•Maintain and enhance the ADPH Vital Statistics System
•Develop and modify RPG applications
•Troubleshoot production issues
•Perform testing and validation
•Document changes and procedures
•Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
•Support enterprise metrics initiatives
Ideal Candidate Profile
•8+ years of AS400/RPG development
•Strong RPG/400, RPGLE, and SQL RPGLE experience
•Production support and troubleshooting background
•Legacy enterprise application maintenance experience
•AS400 administration or upgrade experience (preferred)
•Excellent documentation and communication skills
