Multi-Location: On-site; Chelmsford, MA & Lawrence, MA
About VPT:
VPT, Inc., is a global leader in power conversion solutions for avionics, military, space, and industrial applications. We're seeking a motivated Information Technology professional to support our two locations in Chelmsford, MA & Lawrence, MA. This full-time position will float between the two locations and assist with daily information technology and infrastructure needs.
What You'll Do:
- Provide technical support to end users, troubleshoot and resolving hardware, software, system access, and connectivity issues to maintain productivity and minimize downtime.
- Perform routine systems maintenance, including backups, recovery options, and file maintenance.
- Maintain system uptime and performance by proactively addressing system issues.
- Acquire, install, and test system software upgrades and updates.
- Install and test computer hardware/components as required.
- Configure system software to meet operational requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems involving systems and software and basic networking.
- Maintain documentation of IT infrastructure, including system configurations and related information.
- Create and maintain troubleshooting procedures and technical documentation.
The anticipated starting salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 per year.
Salary Range Disclaimer: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the VPT, Inc., starting salary range for this position. Actual starting salary will vary depending on location, education and experience. The range listed is just one factor of the VPT, Inc., total compensation package. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Accounting Information Systems
- At least three years of relevant work experience
