POSITION SUMMARY:
The Intense Student Support Network Coordinator integrates academic and nonacademic supports to all special needs students in the district utilizing the resources within the Intense Student Support Network. This position's foundation is pastoral care with a strong skill in supporting specific challenges of students with special needs that learn and socialize differently. This position is aligned with the Blueprint for Systemic Reconfiguration related to the Intense Student Support Network and Instructional Infrastructure and connects to other drivers and driver systems within the Blueprint.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide direct support to the district's vision for Blueprint systemic reconfiguration
within your role
Understanding, implementation, and support of the SPS Visions of the Intense
Student Support Network and Instructional Infrastructure
Assist in maintaining records of IEP's and maintain files of special education,
homebound, hospitalized, and alternative placements
Develop and maintain expertise in the student management system used to
enroll, schedule and report students in district programs.
Develop and maintain expertise in state reporting requirements for students, staff,
and administration.
Maintain organized records for all State and Federal requirements as necessary
for reporting and audit.
Create and maintain data imports and exports as needed.
Respond to a wide variety of data and information requests; create customized
queries and reports, as needed.
Prepare correspondence, reports, forms, and other documents which may be
confidential in nature.
Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders. Attend professional development activities related to job duties
Overseeing/managing caseloads for special education teachers
Co-coordinate ESY Program
Overseeing special education inventory of equipment/materials
Monitor and maintain all contract components
Receive, process and document correspondences, reports, forms, evaluations
and referrals
Promote and support the organization's culture by ensuring excellent customer
service
Models nondiscriminatory practices in all activities.
Experience in managing payroll
