ISP Engineer

ISP Engineer to support fiber network engineering and construction activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with ISP and/or 3GIS projects and be comfortable reviewing, interpreting, and updating construction prints. This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside in one of the approved states listed below.

Responsibilities:

• Support the engineering and design of fiber-optic network infrastructure.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, engineering plans, and network documentation.
• Update construction prints to reflect design changes, field conditions, and as-built information.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, construction, permitting, and project teams.
• Ensure drawings and documentation are accurate, complete, and aligned with project requirements.
• Identify discrepancies or design issues and assist with developing solutions.
• Maintain organized project records and engineering documentation.
• Support multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience in ISP engineering, telecommunications, fiber-optic network design, or a related field.
• Ability to understand, read, and update construction prints.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicable engineering or design software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with 3GIS projects or network standards.
• Experience supporting fiber-to-the-home or telecommunications construction projects.
• Familiarity with fiber network design, permitting, make-ready, or construction documentation.
• Experience working with outside plant or inside plant engineering teams.
