    Quality Assurance Coordinator (ISO 9001) / QA Lead Support

    Textile Manufacturing | Quality Management | ISO 9001 | Continuous Improvement

    Are you a detail-oriented quality professional with experience in ISO 9001, quality systems, and manufacturing environments? Our Client is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to help maintain and improve our ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) while supporting critical quality assurance functions within a fast-paced textile manufacturing operation in Winston-Salem, NC.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys problem-solving, data analysis, process improvement, and working closely with production and quality teams to drive
    operational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities

    ISO 9001 / Quality Management System (QMS) Coordination
    • Maintain and support the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
    • Manage quality procedures, records, and document control processes.
    • Coordinate and oversee internal quality audits.
    • Assist with external audit preparation and compliance requirements.
    • Schedule, monitor, and maintain calibration programs for equipment and instruments.
    • Track, maintain, and follow up on Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with quality standards.
    Quality Assurance Lead Support
    • Analyze yarn and fabric quality trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Prepare and present weekly quality performance reports.
    • Release tested and approved production lots for shipment.
    • Prepare and manage customer submissions and quality documentation.
    • Generate and distribute Certificates of Analysis (COAs) as required.
    • Assist with investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
    • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve processes and product quality.
    Qualifications
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Textile Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferred.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in ISO 9001 and manufacturing quality systems required.
    • Textile manufacturing experience, including knit, dyeing, finishing, yarn, or fabric operations, is highly preferred.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    Required Skills & Abilities
    • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 requirements and quality management principles.
    • Advanced mathematical skills including fractions, percentages, metric conversions, and basic equations.
    • Ability to analyze quality data and identify trends.
    • Strong computer skills with experience using testing, quality, and inventory management systems.
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
    • Must have good color perception and be able to successfully pass the Munsell Color Perception Test.
