Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking an Installation, Service, and Commissioning (ISC) Electrical Technician. This position requires the employee to fulfil scheduled and non-scheduled service and installation requirements, including modular product installation, module electrical connections, equipment inspection, pre-commissioning and start-up. The employee will be required to travel on a regular basis, with extended time and overnight stays out of state. The employee is responsible for the quality of his work, ensuring it is acceptable by EAS, customer requirements and industry standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand, inspect, troubleshoot and repair electrical installations in Mechanical Equipment manufactured by EAS, per applicable electrical code
Inspect control systems in Mechanical Equipment manufactured by EAS
Install and re-connect modular products manufactured by EAS
Understand and follow QA-QC standards as established by EAS, the customer, and industry standards
Read and understand fabrication and installation drawings, equipment submittals and installation directions
Read and understand electrical and control drawings
Perform equipment start-up
Perform owner training of installed systems
Travel when and where needed to perform onsite tasks
Work with other team members and client representatives as necessary to ensure satisfactory installation or repair
Complete and submit required documentation, including daily reports, safety reports, timesheets, etc.
Visit manufacturing plants for inspection as projects are nearing completion and delivery
Assist with the manufacture of products in EAS factories when no onsite work is scheduled or needed
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of high school education or equivalent
Commercial electrical license
Minimum of 2 years construction, manufacturing or service experience in the electrical field
Experience and education may be waived at the discretion of EAS management
Other qualifications not required, but considered a plus: equipment start-up, owner training, rigging

Able to travel to project sites across the United States and to work 40-plus hours per week
Able to stand and work for prolonged periods of time, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift
