    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Platform Quality Engineer with experience in healthcare data integration, interoperability, and software quality processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing healthcare data exchanges involving APIs, SFTP, Kafka, EHR platforms, FHIR, and HL7.

    The role is responsible for planning, developing, analyzing, and executing critical software engineering and quality processes across the enterprise. The candidate will analyze data, identify risks and issues, participate in problem-solving sessions, document deliverables, and support continuous process and quality improvements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, develop, analyze, and execute software quality and engineering processes.
    • Perform data analysis and identify risks, issues, and process gaps.
    • Participate in and facilitate problem-solving sessions.
    • Collaborate with project teams to ensure established quality goals are incorporated into business solutions.
    • Provide feedback and recommendations to application and process owners for continuous improvement.
    • Support software testing, defect management, regression testing, and quality control activities.
    • Perform source-to-target data mapping and reconciliation.
    • Analyze business problems and translate requirements into effective testing approaches.
    • Document and communicate testing results, defects, risks, and deliverables.
    • Provide support and guidance related to software artifacts and quality processes.
    • Work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional Agile teams.

    Required Qualifications

    • 1 3 years of relevant experience; candidates with 4+ years may be considered if they are a strong match.
    • Experience with source-to-target data mapping.
    • Experience analyzing business problems and requirements.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong technical and communication skills.
    • Experience with data validation, integration testing, and quality assurance processes.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • FHIR experience 1 3 years.
    • Kafka experience 1 3 years.
    • Agile experience 1 3 years.
    • Experience in the Healthcare or Health Insurance industry.
    • Knowledge/experience with HL7 v2/v3 testing.
    • Experience testing healthcare data integrations and interoperability solutions.
    • Experience with APIs, SFTP, and EHR platforms such as Epic and Oracle Health.
    • Experience with test planning, test automation, regression testing, defect management, and end-to-end data validation.
