Position Summary 

The Crew Member, Irrigation (Driver) supports Sunrise Landscape's commercial clients by providing irrigation installation services across private and public properties. This role combines hands-on landscaping work with irrigation installation responsibilities and requires safe vehicle operation to transport team members, tools, and materials to and from project sites. 

The Crew Member, Irrigation (Driver) supports irrigation installations, property preparation, and site clean-up while maintaining quality standards, client satisfaction, and safe work practices. A successful team member brings irrigation experience, reliability, and the ability to perform physically demanding work in Florida's outdoor conditions. 

Key Responsibilities 

As one of our Crew Members, Irrigation (Driver), you will have the following areas of responsibility: 

Irrigation Installation & Site Preparation 

• Support the installation of irrigation systems, including pipe, joints, heads, and wire 

• Dig holes and trenches and backfill for drainage and irrigation installations 

• Haul and install topsoil, greens mix, gravel, sand, grass seed, and sod 

Landscape Support & Property Preparation 

• Prepare and clean job sites, removing debris and waste 

• Ensure all work is completed to company quality standards and client expectations 

Equipment & Vehicle Operation 

• Drive company vehicles to and from assigned client locations 

• Safely operate landscaping equipment 

• Conduct regular equipment maintenance checks and report issues 

Safety, Teamwork & Communication 

• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at all times 

• Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn at all times, including helmets, fall protection, ear plugs, safety glasses, and gloves to prevent injury 

• Communicate effectively with team members 

• Deliver excellent customer service in all client interactions 

Qualifications & Core Competencies 

• Minimum of 6 months of recent professional landscape installation or construction experience required.  Experience in related trades such as pipe laying, Hillman/Tillman roles, new construction plumbing, apprenticeships, or pool installation/maintenance  

• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States 

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in Florida heat 

• Dependable and able to work well as part of a team 

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours 

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, twist, and squat for prolonged periods throughout the day 

• Ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time 

• Ability to lift 30+ pounds multiple times per day in hot temperatures 

• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including heat, high humidity, and rain 

Driver Qualifications 

To qualify as a Driver, in addition to the above, you must: 

• Possess a valid driver's license issued in the United States for a minimum of three years 

• Maintain a clean driving record for at least three years 

• Successfully pass a drug screening
