Rate of Pay: $19.23/hour plus gratuity
Schedule: Shifts from October 1 through October 15, 2026

Opportunity Awaits on the beautiful Island of Hawaii to be part of triathlon’s most iconic event... As the host hotel for the IRONMAN World Championship, the King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort Courtyard by Marriott currently has openings for talented Temporary, Full time Banquet Porters to share the aloha spirit and strive to create a memorable guest experience from October 1 - October 15.

Brief Summary of Job: During IRONMAN World Championship period of October 1 - October 15: Responsible for setting up tables, serving food and beverage orders, and maintaining cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:

• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Set up and move tables, chairs, and other equipment for the staging of banquets and/or meetings.
• Set tables with clean linens, and other supplies.
• Maintain an adequate supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays.
• Report any missing/found articles, or damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department, restaurant and hotel.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Requirements Knowledge/Education/Experience: One (1) year experience preferred. High school or equivalent education. 

Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements: Must be able to communicate in English with guests, management and team members to their understanding. Ability to provide legible written communications. Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Dependable.
