IR Neuro Radiologic Technologist (Contract) – New York (14642)

• Location: New York, 14642

• Pay Rate: $2,837 – $3,175 (weekly)

• Schedule: 4x10s, Day Shift

  • Includes weekends, holidays, and on-call/callback per unit needs

  • Call: 1–2 times per week and 1–2 weekends per month

• Department: Interventional Radiology – Neuro (Neurosurgery/Neuroscience focus)

Position Requirements:

• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license (NY ONLY)

• ARRT certification required

• BLS (AHA only) required

• Minimum 2 years of experience required

• Neurosurgery/Neuroscience experience required

• Interventional Radiology (IR) experience preferred

• VIR certification is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging using proper positioning and exposure techniques

• Assist radiologists during interventional neuro procedures

• Prepare and monitor patients for radiographic and fluoroscopic exams

• Operate and maintain imaging equipment (X-ray, CR, DR) and report issues as needed

• Ensure patient safety, rights, and comfort throughout procedures

• Utilize HIS, RIS, and PACS for imaging workflow and documentation

• Support department operations by assisting with patient transport, stocking, and general workflow tasks
