Draft and negotiate:
Software licensing agreements
SaaS agreements
Terms of use and privacy policies
Technology development and services agreements
AI data licenses
Master Services Agreements (MSAs)
Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
Other technology-driven commercial contracts
Counsel clients on artificial intelligence, generative AI tools, digital assets, privacy, and cybersecurity matters.
Advise on compliance with privacy laws and frameworks, including CCPA and GDPR.
Handle CIPA and similar privacy-related claims.
Serve as a practical, solutions-oriented legal advisor to technology-focused clients.
Participate in business development and marketing activities.
Significant experience in privacy & data security matters.
Strong experience with technology transactions and complex commercial agreements.
Strong knowledge of privacy laws and frameworks, particularly CCPA and GDPR.
Experience with data processing, SaaS, software licensing, and technology services agreements.
Strong understanding of emerging technology and cybersecurity issues.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and client-advisory skills.
Ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a practical and accessible manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CIPA and similar privacy claims.
Experience with AI, generative AI, digital assets, and emerging technologies.
Experience advising software, media, entertainment, consumer products, or technology-focused companies.
Portable business is a plus but not required.
Experience with business development and client relationship building.
