    Description

    Our client is a Fortune 500 financial and payments technology company, and leads the industry in innovation, scale and service.
    They are now looking to add to their team and hire an "iOS Navigation Backend Developer(Guidewire Cloud API).” This role will be based out of New York City, ideally hybrid, but can be 100% Remote.
    Overview

    Seeking a strong Backend Developer with expertise in Python/Flask and AWS serverless technologies to support the development of an all-in-one iOS application for insurance adjusters. The role focuses on Guidewire Cloud API integrations, REST API development, and route optimization for claims site visits.

    Required Skills

    • Strong experience with Python and Flask backend development
    • Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and API Gateway
    • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
    • Knowledge of route optimization algorithms
    • Ability to quickly learn and integrate enterprise APIs
    Nice to Have

    • Guidewire InsuranceSuite / Guidewire Cloud API integration experience
    • Experience with Google OR-Tools or Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) algorithms
    • AWS PrivateLink configuration experience
    • Insurance or agriculture domain experience
    Responsibilities

    • Integrate user-captured data with Guidewire Cloud APIs
    • Develop and maintain backend services supporting iOS navigation features
    • Implement route optimization logic for adjuster claim visits
    • Build and maintain REST APIs for iOS frontend integration
    • Partner with infrastructure teams on AWS PrivateLink connectivity

    This is a remote position.

    Compensation: $550.00 - $650.00 per day
