We are currently partnered with a leading alternative investment manager who is looking to bring on an Investor Reporting & Operations individual to support the firm's investor relations and finance functions. This individual will play a key role in quarterly investor reporting, portfolio company reporting, and ongoing investor communications. The position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with data, investor deliverables, and complex reporting processes, and wants to build a long-term career at the intersection of investor relations, finance, and operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and accounting-oriented mindset, enjoy preparing LP reports, DDQs, RFPs, and investor reporting packages, and be interested in building a long-term career focused on investor reporting, operations, and investor support rather than fundraising or business development. They will thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy partnering across finance and investor relations teams, and demonstrate the intellectual curiosity, accountability, and judgment necessary to take ownership of key reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of quarterly and annual LP reporting materials.
- Support portfolio company reporting and data aggregation across the firm's investment platform.
- Coordinate investor reporting deliverables, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely execution.
- Maintain and organize investor-related data, performance metrics, and reporting databases.
- Partner closely with the CFO, Investor Relations team, and other internal stakeholders on recurring reporting initiatives.
- Assist with investor requests, ad hoc analyses, and due diligence inquiries.
- Contribute to the preparation of DDQs, RFPs, consultant questionnaires, pitchbooks, and investor communications.
- Help improve reporting processes, internal controls, and operational efficiencies across the investor reporting function.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of professional experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Exposure to private equity, private credit, alternative investments, asset management, investment management, or real estate is highly preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical, accounting, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to prepare client- and investor-facing materials.
