About Initio Sphere

Initio Sphere is a private capital ecosystem where capital meets talent. We connect fund managers, investors, operators, and analysts through live deal flow, institutional frameworks, and curated relationships across private markets.

Investment Committee Advisors sit at the highest advisory tier within the Initio Sphere ecosystem. They provide independent, senior-level investment judgment to funds and investors—strengthening governance, discipline, and decision quality across capital deployment.

Role Overview

Initio Sphere is onboarding experienced professionals to serve as Investment Committee Advisors, supporting formal and informal investment committees on active transactions and portfolio decisions.

This is not a traditional employment role. Investment Committee Advisors operate as independent contractors and are activated through a selective verification and approval process.

Once approved, Investment Committee Advisors:

  • Provide IC-level review and guidance on live investment opportunities

  • Evaluate underwriting, structure, risk, and return alignment

  • Support capital allocation decisions and governance processes

  • Mentor analysts and deal teams by elevating IC standards

  • Access curated deal flow, advisory engagements, and platform exposure

  • Build a verified Advisor Track Record within the Initio Sphere ecosystem

This role is ideal for senior professionals trusted to deliver clear, decisive judgment in capital allocation decisions.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Approved Investment Committee Advisors may be engaged to:

Investment Committee Review & Decision Support

  • Review investment memoranda, financial models, and diligence outputs

  • Assess risk-adjusted returns, downside protection, and alignment with mandates

  • Pressure-test assumptions, underwriting discipline, and exit logic

  • Provide IC-style feedback, recommendations, and voting input (where permitted)

  • Support go / no-go and sizing decisions

Governance & Process Oversight

  • Strengthen investment governance and decision frameworks

  • Advise on IC structure, materials, and review standards

  • Ensure consistency with fund strategy and LP expectations

Mentorship & Institutional Rigor

  • Mentor analysts and deal teams on IC preparation and rigor

  • Elevate analytical quality and investment discipline across transactions

  • Serve as an independent second set of eyes prior to capital commitment

Investment Committee Advisors focus on review, judgment, and governance. They do not originate deals, raise capital, or perform day-to-day modeling unless explicitly approved.

Eligible Advisory Areas

Approval is granted by asset class and strategy based on experience and track record, including:

  • Private equity and growth equity

  • Commercial real estate

  • Private credit and structured finance

  • Special situations and opportunistic investments

  • Fund-level and portfolio-level IC review

Compensation & Deal Economics

  • Investment Committee Advisors operate as independent contractors

  • Hourly compensation ranges from $200–$500, based on experience and engagement scope

  • Transaction-based incentives may be earned for advisory on closed deals

  • Payments issued upon completion of advisory milestones or deal closure

  • No cap on earning potential for high-impact, repeat IC engagements

How Investment Committee Advisors Get Activated

  1. Submit an Investment Committee Advisor application with background and deal history

  2. Complete verification and strategy-specific approval

  3. Gain promotion and visibility within the Initio Sphere platform

  4. Begin participating in IC reviews and advisory engagements

This process ensures selectivity, credibility, and direct access to meaningful opportunities.

  • Provide investment advice to the public

  • Solicit securities
