We are partnering with a premier middle-market investment bank with a longstanding track record of advising private and public companies on mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory engagements. Having successfully completed more than 300 transactions, the firm has established itself as a trusted advisor to founder-led businesses, financial sponsors, and corporate clients across a range of industries.

With a strong national footprint, an expanding platform, and a robust pipeline of active engagements, the firm is seeking an Investment Banking Vice President to join its growing team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced banker to step into a highly visible role with significant client interaction, leadership responsibilities, and advancement potential.

Position Overview

The Vice President will play a key role in originating and executing transactions, managing client relationships, and leading deal teams throughout the entire transaction lifecycle. Working closely with senior leadership, this individual will have the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility while helping drive the continued growth of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions from initial engagement through successful closing.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, buyers, investors, and external advisors throughout the transaction process.
• Oversee the development and review of complex financial models, valuation analyses, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and other marketing materials.
• Manage due diligence processes and coordinate cross-functional workstreams to ensure efficient execution.
• Mentor, develop, and oversee Analysts and Associates while maintaining exceptional quality standards across all deliverables.
• Participate in management meetings, client presentations, negotiations, and strategic discussions.
• Partner closely with Managing Directors and senior leadership to strengthen existing client relationships and support new business initiatives.
• Manage multiple live transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of investment banking experience with significant M&A transaction execution experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead transactions and manage complex deal processes independently.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, analytical, and presentation capabilities.
• Experience mentoring junior bankers and leading deal teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Sector experience in Business Services, Technology, or Industrials is preferred but not required.
