Investment Banking Senior Analyst

Location: Chicago, Illinois/Cleveland, Ohio
Our client is a highly reputable middle-market investment bank focused on advising founder-owned businesses, private equity sponsors, and corporate clients on M&A and strategic advisory transactions. The firm's team is experiencing strong deal flow and is seeking a Senior Analyst to support transaction execution across a variety of sectors, including Environmental Services, Industrial & Infrastructure Services, Commercial & Residential Services, Professional Services, and Technology & Information Services.
Responsibilities
- Support senior bankers throughout the execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including valuation analyses and transaction-related modeling
- Conduct industry research, market analysis, and company due diligence
- Prepare client-facing presentations, pitch materials, CIMs, management presentations, and other marketing documents
- Assist with transaction marketing efforts, buyer outreach processes, and diligence coordination
- Work directly with senior bankers and clients in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Investment Banking Analyst experience required
- Prior M&A transaction execution experience, preferably with sell-side exposure
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and accounting skills
- Proven ability to support live transactions and create client presentation materials
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
