The corporate finance team is actively expanding its equity capital markets franchise and is seeking experienced professionals to support continued growth.

About Role:

Our client is seeking an accomplished Equity Capital Markets Director to lead and execute equity capital raising transactions. This individual will play a key role in both origination and execution, advising clients on complex equity offerings including IPOs, follow‑on offerings, private placements, and convertible securities.

The role requires strong market insight, hands‑on execution experience, and the ability to manage transactions from initial pitch through closing. The successful candidate will work closely with senior bankers, institutional investors, and internal partners to deliver tailored capital‑raising solutions in dynamic market conditions.

Requirements:

• Lead and execute equity capital markets transactions across multiple structures
• Partner with senior coverage bankers on origination and client pitches
• Perform market analysis, equity valuation, and transaction structuring
• Prepare pitch books, offering memoranda, investor presentations, and roadshow materials
• Advise clients on pricing, timing, and deal structure based on market conditions
• Coordinate with legal counsel, accounting advisors, syndicate desks, and sales teams
• Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors and market participants
• Monitor equity capital markets for trends, opportunities, and risks
• Mentor and support junior team members
• Represent the firm in client meetings, conferences, and industry events

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of investment banking experience, with a strong focus on equity capital markets
• Proven track record of executing equity offerings from pitch through launch and closing
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong client‑facing presence
• Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, transaction‑driven environment
• FINRA SIE, Series 7, Series 79, and Series 63 licenses required (or ability to obtain shortly after hire)
