Description

We are seeking an Inventory Supervisor to join our 1st Shift leadership team in San Leandro, CA, our Direct-to-Consumer warehouse.

This position will primarily support our Inventory Operations, making inventory accuracy, inventory control, and process compliance the primary focus of the role.

Supervise the operations and responsibilities of the warehouse team and designated facility. Work with Operations leadership to make certain company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee all inventory operations, ensuring inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, investigations, reconciliations, and process improvements.
  • Partner with Operations Leadership to ensure company and customer expectations for service, quality, safety, productivity, and inventory integrity are consistently achieved.
  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound activities, inventory movement, product organization, and inventory control processes.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies while implementing corrective actions to prevent future variances.
  • Plan daily work assignments and allocate resources to meet operational goals while maintaining productivity and labor efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate production, inventory, and operational records.
  • Monitor warehouse metrics and prepare reports related to inventory performance, warehouse activity, and operational results.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Customer Service, and other departments to ensure inventory accuracy and customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong inventory management experience is required, including cycle counting, inventory control, root cause analysis, and maintaining high inventory accuracy.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence teams while building accountability and engagement.
  • Experience supervising warehouse operations in a distribution, logistics, or supply chain environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify operational improvements.
  • Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing business priorities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse or logistics leadership experience
  • Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Required: Demonstrated experience in inventory management and inventory control, including cycle counting, inventory audits, root cause analysis, reconciliation of inventory discrepancies, and maintaining high inventory accuracy within a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Strong conflict management and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F (-25°C) in cold storage environments or up to 100°F (37°C) in dry storage facilities while wearing company-provided PPE and freezer gear
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. or more, depending on facility requirements
  • Flexibility to work weekends or adjust schedules as business needs require
  • Comfortable working in warehouse environments with varying noise levels
