Position Summary
Reporting to Supply Chaing Manager, the Inventory Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes. This role will be responsible for performing daily cycle counts, including both physical inventory and handling unit-managed inventory.
 
Position Responsibilities
• Supporting both Supply Chain and Warehouse operations by conducting inventory counts and ensuring accuracy across systems
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Comply with all federal, state and company policies, procedures, and regulations related to occupational safety.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular checks to ensure products meet specified standards and requirements. Identify any defects, inconsistencies, or non-conformities and report them to the appropriate personnel. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production-related quality issues.
• Work documentation: Accurately complete production logs, work orders, and other required documentation to track production progress and maintain production records. Enter data into computer systems or databases as needed.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth production flow and resolve any production-related issues.
• Communication: Communicate effectively and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment
• Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that materials and equipment are properly stored, and waste is disposed appropriately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Position Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various environmental conditions.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Compliance with health and hygiene standards, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
• Basic math skills and the ability to perform simple calculations.
• Excellent teamwork and communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, with appropriate certifications is required
• Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to prioritize workplace safety.
• Proficiency in Excel is required. Experience using SAP is preferred.
