Job Position: Inventory Specialist (Cycle Count)
Location: Joliet, IL
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00/hr. based on experience
Shift & Hours: 1st, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
Total Staffing Solutions (Powered by TTR) is hiring several Inventory Specialist (Cycle Count) Associates in Joliet, IL!
We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals with warehouse, inventory, and order fulfillment experience to join a fast-paced warehouse team.
These are full-time opportunities on the 1st shift. The pay rate is $18.00 $20.00 per hour, based on experience
Job Responsibilities:
Complete Inventory Counts: Perform regular and random inventory checks to ensure physical stock matches the quantities listed in the system.
Resolve Inventory Issues: Review inventory differences, determine possible reasons, record findings, and submit necessary corrections for approval.
Unload Deliveries: Remove freight from trucks, trailers, and containers safely while following proper handling procedures.
Verify Incoming Shipments: Check products for correct quantities, damages, proper labeling, and accuracy using packing slips and purchase orders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately count, track, and document inventory.
Experience performing inventory checks and comparing physical stock with computer records.
Ability to handle physical warehouse duties, including unloading freight, standing, bending, and lifting.
Ability to understand product labels, packing lists, and shipping/receiving paperwork.
Basic computer knowledge; familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems is a plus.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely when properly trained and authorized.
Dependable, punctual, and able to communicate effectively while working as part of a team.
Previous experience in inventory control, cycle counting, shipping and receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
