Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to support inventory and material-control operations in Tulsa. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, pulling and receiving materials, reconciling physical inventory, investigating discrepancies, and working closely with the Purchasing Department.
Previous hands-on experience with BarCloud Inventory Software is required for this position. Candidates must be comfortable setting up, navigating, managing, and making inventory adjustments within the BarCloud system rather than simply having general inventory software experience.
The ideal candidate combines strong BarCloud proficiency with hands-on inventory control, receiving, material handling, and reconciliation experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage inventory using BarCloud Inventory Software
Set up and maintain inventory information within BarCloud
Navigate inventory records and transactions
Make approved inventory updates and adjustments
Maintain accurate material quantities and locations
Pull materials according to production or operational requirements
Receive incoming materials accurately
Verify received quantities
Update inventory following material receipts and movement
Monitor inventory levels
Cross-check system quantities against physical inventory
Perform inventory reconciliations
Investigate inventory discrepancies
Identify incorrect quantities or locations
Work closely with the Purchasing Department
Communicate material shortages or inventory concerns
Collaborate with other team members to maintain efficient material flow
Maintain organized inventory and storage areas
Perform additional inventory-control duties as assigned
BarCloud Inventory Software
Strong BarCloud experience is a central requirement for this position.

Inventory Control Responsibilities
Maintain accurate on-hand inventory quantities

Identify missing or incorrectly recorded inventory

Make applicable system corrections
Help maintain accurate inventory throughout daily operations
Support cycle-counting and reconciliation activities as required
Receiving Responsibilities
Receive incoming materials
Verify materials and quantities
Confirm received products against applicable documentation
Enter or update receipts within BarCloud
Identify shortages, overages, or discrepancies
Organize received materials
Coordinate inventory availability with applicable personnel
Maintain accurate receiving records
Material Pulling & Handling
Pull materials according to applicable requirements
Verify correct items and quantities
Update material movement within BarCloud
Stage materials appropriately
Maintain organized inventory locations
Help ensure materials are available when needed
Communicate shortages or location discrepancies promptly
Purchasing Department Support
The Inventory Specialist will work closely with Purchasing to:
Monitor material availability
Identify low-stock items
Communicate inventory shortages
Verify on-hand quantities
Research inventory discrepancies
Support material replenishment decisions
Maintain accurate information for purchasing activities
Help prevent production delays caused by inaccurate inventory information

Compare BarCloud quantities against physical inventory
Investigate discrepancies
Review recent receipts and material movement
Identify potential transaction or location errors
Correct applicable inventory information
Communicate unresolved discrepancies
Maintain accurate inventory records after reconciliation
