Join AZAD Technology Partners as an Inventory Specialist and support the Fleet Management group at the facility. This assignment involves identifying, researching, sourcing, receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking repair parts, materials, tools, and equipment. Such work requires knowledge of the kinds of tools, parts, and equipment in stock and how to locate them, and an ability to identify and issue specific items requested by end users. This assignment will also serve as a parts runner picking up orders in the local area from various vendors and suppliers. They may be required to conduct annual or periodic inventory at various maintenance shops within the facility service area.
This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is full time on site based in Vancouver, Washington with onsite 5 days per week. The hourly pay rate for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $5.09) is between $29.83 and $32.09 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.
The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Inventory Management, Inventory Control, Purchasing, Computerized Logistics or related field is preferred.
With a Bachelor's degree in applicable fields, 6 months of supply chain and/or logistics experience is required.
With an Associate's degree in applicable fields, 2 years of supply chain and/or logistics experience is required.
Without a degree or with a degree not in applicable fields, 4 years of supply chain and/or logistics experience is required
3 years of experience in automotive warehouse operations, including OEM/aftermarket parts identification, VIN and serial number research, electronic parts catalogs, Fleet maintenance practices, equipment identification, parts sourcing, vendor coordination, inventory systems and customer support.
Knowledge of shop safety regulations and emergency procedures.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Software (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
Valid U.S. Driver's License or RealID is required.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in Fleet maintenance organizations, automotive dealerships, heavy-duty truck dealerships, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, utility fleets, municipal/public fleets, and direct mechanic support
Experience with Asset Suite Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system
