 The Role

We’re looking for anInventory Managerto own end-to-end inventory operations for our growing collectibles business. In this role, you’ll lead our purchasing team, manage vendor relationships, optimize inventory levels, and build scalable processes that keep product flowing smoothly as we grow.

You’ll work closely with operations, product, and finance partners to ensure we have the right inventory, at the right time, at the right cost while maintaining a high bar for organization, data quality, and operational excellence.

This role is based in the South Bay, CA and we’re looking for someone to be onsite 5 days a week. You'll also be required to occasionally work from our HQ in San Francisco, CA.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop the purchasing team while overseeing daily inventory operations across all collectibles categories.
  • Build and manage key vendor relationships, negotiate pricing and terms, and maintain an approved vendor network.
  • Design and maintain scalable purchasing and inventory workflows with clear documentation for the team.
  • Ensure clean, accurate inventory data in our database and strong standards for data quality.
  • Monitor inventory health with reports and dashboards to give leadership clear visibility.
  • Use data to recommend what to buy, when to buy it, and how much to commit in partnership with finance.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management, purchasing, operations, or supply chain at a high-growth company or e-commerce / physical goods business. Bonus if you've scaled an operations or supply chain function.
  • Experience leading or directly managing a small team, with a track record of coaching, feedback, and clear goal-setting.
  • Strong familiarity with the collectibles market (trading cards, PSA grading, sports memorabilia, or similar) and enthusiasm for the category. Bonus if you've worked with Card Ladder or similar pricing/reference tools.
  • Proven ability to design and improve processes in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
  • Proficiency with inventory or ERP systems and strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets for analysis and reporting.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with a bias toward ownership and follow-through.
  • Comfortable working on-site and between multiple locations in the Bay Area in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
