Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and organized Inventory Manager to oversee and maintain accurate inventory levels within our warehouse. The Inventory Manager will be responsible for tracking incoming and outgoing products, maintaining accurate inventory records, investigating inventory discrepancies, coordinating cycle counts and physical inventories, and working closely with warehouse, receiving, shipping, and purchasing departments.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Strong leadership, computer, inventory-control, and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Monitor inventory levels and product movement throughout the warehouse.
  • Track all incoming and outgoing inventory.
  • Perform and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts.
  • Coordinate physical inventory counts.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine the cause of shortages or overages.
  • Make necessary inventory adjustments after discrepancies have been verified.
  • Verify received products against purchase orders, packing slips, and system records.
  • Ensure products are properly labeled, stored, and organized.
  • Monitor damaged, missing, returned, or incorrectly received merchandise.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transfers, returns, adjustments, and movements.
  • Work closely with the Receiving and Shipping departments to ensure inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Previous inventory-control, warehouse, or inventory-management experience required.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory-control procedures.
  • Experience performing cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Ability to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
