We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Inventory Manager for our manufacturing facility. If you are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for efficiency and accuracy, this is the perfect opportunity for you. As an Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all inventory operations, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and supporting the production process. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

As an Inventory Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing and managing all inventory operations, ensuring optimal inventory levels are maintained at all times.
2. Conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify inventory accuracy.
3. Developing and implementing inventory control procedures and best practices.
4. Collaborating with the purchasing department to manage and optimize procurement processes.
5. Providing production support and working closely with the production team to ensure inventory needs are met.
6. Identifying and analyzing inventory issues, performing root cause analysis to solve inventory discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
7. Preparing detailed inventory reports and presenting them to management.
8. Training and supervising inventory staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
9. Working with the sales and planning teams to forecast future inventory needs.
10. Implementing cost reduction strategies and initiatives.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Inventory Manager position should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proficient in cycle counting, purchasing, production support, and root cause analysis.
3. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.
4. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and produce relevant insights.
5. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
6. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
10. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
