Mobile Generation, the fastest-growing Verizon Wireless Premium Retailer in the Midwest, is currently looking for an Inventory Manager to join our team. The Inventory Manager for Mobile Generation will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day inventory levels of Verizon Wireless products, ensuring accurate stock records, and optimize supply chain efficiency.

The Inventory Manager for Mobile Generation will be responsible for:
 
•    Inventory tracking & forecasting – ability to maintain optimal stock levels, track demand trends, and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
•    Product lifecycle management – knowledge of phone models, accessories, and technology updates to plan and execute End-of-Life (EOL) inventory transitions.
•    Vendor & supplier coordination – working with distributors and third-party suppliers for timely stock replenishment.
  • Loss prevention & fraud awareness – ability to monitor inventory discrepancies, track product movements, and analyze sales patterns to identify potential fraud or shrinkage  
•    Strong data analysis skills – proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and analytics tools to generate reports and identify sales patterns.
•    Multi-location inventory coordination – experience managing stock across multiple retail locations and ensuring proper distribution.
•    Team leadership & communication – ability to coordinate with store managers, district managers, and suppliers.
 
Mobile Generation is looking for candidates with: 
 
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role in a retail environment, preferably with Verizon Wireless or other Wireless business.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, logistics, or a related field. (Preferred but not required)
  • Certification in Inventory Management is a plus
  • Ability to lead, coach and inspire your team members.
  • Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology and products.
  • Ability to travel to our various locations across the Midwest as business needs dictate. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Utilize systems and Excel to generate and analyze real-time reports on stock levels, sales trends, and inventory discrepancies for better decision-making.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.
