    Description

    Position Summary:

    • The Inventory Management Specialist II manages inventory processes with greater independence, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely shipping/receiving operations.
    • This role also assists in process improvements and troubleshooting discrepancies.

    Responsibilities:
    • Monitor and maintain inventory levels; initiate replenishment as needed
    • Conduct regular cycle counts and investigate variances
    • Oversee receiving processes, including documentation and system updates
    • Coordinate and execute shipping schedules, including carrier selection
    • Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and compliance with shipping regulations
    • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and inefficiencies
    • Resolve discrepancies related to shipments, returns, and stock levels
    • Train and support entry-level staff (Level I)
    • Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams
    • Maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards

    Requirements:
    • 2 5 years of inventory or warehouse experience
    • Experience with inventory/ERP systems is a plus
    • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

    Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)
