Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, reach, or cherry picker forklifts to load, unload, and transport products and materials.
- Efficiently move items to designated storage or production areas, ensuring timely processing.
- Perform thorough pre- and post-shift equipment inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly to maintain operational safety.
- Accurately record inventory transactions and movements using warehouse management systems, ensuring data integrity.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including organizing stock, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to create a secure and compliant workplace.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting.
- Valid forklift certification, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in physically demanding environments.
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse systems (WMS/YMS) is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
