    Description

    ASRC Federal is seeking a Logistics Specialist 1 to perform Pre-Expended Bin services for our Fleet Readiness Center Jacksonville Integrated Prime Vendor contract located at the Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FLPrimary Duties and Responsibilities

    Place stock material into bins or other storage locations.Scan Pre-expended bins daily using barcode scanner.Maintains appropriate cleanliness of all supply areasPerforms a check of inventory of all assigned bin locations and orders at or below the reorder point listed on the bin label.Apply bar code labels to bins as required.Collaborate with co-workers, material planner and supervisor to ensure timely, efficient material deliveries and bin scanning.Quickly route customer concerns to site management for resolution.Transfer stock from one storage location to another storage location to satisfy maintenance requirements.Shipping, breaking down, receiving and delivering material.Review and recommend reorder thresholds based on analysis of recent history of parts movement, anticipated demand, and customer collaboration.Document, track, and report daily deliveries, shipments, and internal material movements to the supervisor via receipt report and transfer paperwork.Maintain storage and management of customer-owned material that can be redistributed to other shops on depot providing significant cost-avoidance benefits1-2 years of DOD supply chain experience requested but not required to apply

    Qualifications and Skills

    Previous experience in inventory preferred.Requirement to lift up to a minimum of 40 pounds.Requires individuals to stand or walk for extended periods of time.Must understand and read basic instructions.May be required to wear hearing protection, safety goggles, and safety shoes.Strong initiative, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Ability to adapt in high-paced, dynamic work environment and manage shifting priorities

    Must have sound practical judgement and good communications skills.Experience with Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint

    Required Licenses or Certifications

    High school diploma or equivalentValid/Current Driver's LicenseMust be able to obtain security clearance
